3 Things You Should Know About Insurance

Ah, the pandemic. What a wonderful time to binge-watch Netflix shows, become a TikTok star, and question your own mortality.

Many of my clients, especially those with families in their 30’s and 40’s, have used this time of forced reflection to ensure their families will be secure if anything should happen to them. Oftentimes, when we have this conversation, we like to bring up Life Insurance – at which point our clients yawn with boredom.

Life insurance, though, can be an important piece of anyone’s financial plan. Keyword, *can. Just like mayonnaise, it should be used carefully: in the right amounts, at the right times, for the right purpose.

To learn more about when and why someone might need life insurance, we sat down with Brandon Hartsel from Fiduciary Insurance.

While you’re sheltering at home in your umpteenth quarantine, it might be a great time to review your life insurance coverages with a trusted advisor. While you’re at it, you might want to check out the expiration date on that mayonnaise hiding in the back of your fridge, too.
